500ml bottle. Pours a golden amber with a white head. Carbonation rushing up the glass. Nose is grass, straw, light caramel, elderflower, citrus zest and hops. Smooth going down, nice balance of sweet and bitter. Taste is straw, honey, caramel, gooseberry, elderflower, lemon zest and grapefruit peel with a nice dry bitter finish. Fantastic quality as always from the Brothers. Great stuff ! johndoughty (5445) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2008
Bottle.Salisbury’s certainly got it right when they put this on their shelves.Clear orange appearance with citrus flavours hitting your mouth as soon as you take your first sip.
Hops area also there and a gentle bitterness soon comes to the front of the mouth feel. Very pleasant and refreshing. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2010
Beautifully fresh tasting pale gold beer, with a fine fruity aroma to match. Flavours of light honey, strawberry, melon and peach, creamy lingering finish, with elderflower creeping in late on. Sweetness becomes more intense with drinking, developing an almost sugary aftertaste. One to have in for the long summer evenings! mighty_meadow (308) - Kilwinning, SCOTLAND - FEB 4, 2013
Golden, amber colour. Small head but it stays all the way. Summery fragrance, in fact summer/late spring in a glass describes this perfectly. Like a light(ish) pale ale. Fruity and a little floral. Left me wanting more.
