Bottled 330ml from Sandra. Gold with white, slightly fizzed, head. There is a good fruity aroma on opening, oranges then on the palate there is a clean, citrusy flavour, bitter and lasting. Pretty decent.

330ml can. Pours an unfiltered but fairly clear golden amber with a small white head. Nose is very malty, biscuit, bread, caramel with some citrus, mango, passion fruit, orange peel and gooseberry. medium mouth feel, light carbonation. Big malts, leading into a tradition style bitterness. Some tropical fruits come out, but fairly subdued. Nice but a bit bland.

ALLOVATE (2992) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 15, 2015
At just on cool and into a snifter. Hazy, pastel yellow and still. Head off the pour holds; snow-white and daubs the glass well. Strong, dried herb and butter note atop hints of fresh baked bread, honey and almonds. Bready, sweet and a little cloying on the palate - OK its over date, but this drinks like its a year over date. Light bitterness is overdone by the yeasty notes. Body is light but it sits heavy in the stomach. Not much else. Forgettable. (33cL, BBE 04/15, Luckies Liquor, East Vic. Park)

330ml brown bottle, cork and cask, Edinburgh. Pours medium golden amber with no head. Scent is mango and passion fruit with a musty, flowery center. Taste is medium pale ale malt with plenty of dryness and a honey flavor end. Finish dry. Good.
