Williams "Joker" is our wildcard, this is a copper coloured ale, medium bodied and a pleasent mix of spice and fruit, which stretches the palate to a smile!

Pours golden amber with a white head. Flowery aroma with pale malts. Well balanced flavor, with light floral and citric hops on a lightly sweet, pale malty base. Not bad.

Rciesla (5607) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - NOV 23, 2010
Cask, listed as an IPA but given the the taste it must be a bitter. Pours a still bodied rustic copper with a trace white lacing. Bitter and drying hop tones, pine, and slight grapefruit hints. A trace of wet wood an d hint of citrus. Ok.

[cask at Sheep’s Heid Inn, Edinburgh] Lovely looking pint, burnished gold colour with a sparkler head of about a centimetre depth. Aromas of citrus, grass from the hops, malt and a little spice. Very drinkable, bitter citrus at first, with a sweet malt component before a lovely dry aftertaste with a piney finish. I think I caught a great pint, no question. Really good stuff – much more rounded taste than the bottled Joker (which is still very nice) [10102010]

Cask pour @ Rattle ’N’ Hum. Golden pour with some light white head. IPA?, not really, bitter is more correct for style. Slight citrus, spice, and some malty notes.

Aroma citric hint of funk , hops with meadow like character . soft and pleasant 7+
Appearance hazed golden look with little off top.
Flavor and Palate : mid bodied , sweet base , fruity with more of aromas meadow feel. Hop oriented end. Quiet drinkable. Refreshing ale.

A Mes rate. Cask at the Southampton Arms.
Amber gold with a very slight haze, no head. Straight down the line biscuity malt. Faint fruity bitterness. Balanced and drinkable. Not the best I’ve had from Williams Brothers by a long shot.

Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 2, 2010
Served from cask at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel and floral hops. The taste is floral and citrus hops, caramel and tea. Bitter finish. Medium bodied. Quite good.

DruncanVeasey (8426) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2010
Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Hazy orange-amber with a thin bubbly collar. Juicy hop aroma hinting at peach, mango, thick tacky resins. Rich and dense with overripe pineapple over thick cheesecake and nut husk malts that can handle it. Brothers rarely let you down.

Draft from the Bow bar. A bit sweet with a nice golden look to her. Not exciting but sessonable.

renffisch (891) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2008
