A lovely sniff, not in your face but fragrant. Floral, bit of pine and some mild citrus. Is not so good on the tongue, gets a bit soapy, but is an enjoyable swill. Anyone that rates the taste higher than the aroma is clearly a moron. Or perhaps an imbecile. Theres a scientific difference you idiot.

Firm carbonation in lager looking body and a loose bubbly white head. Big floral, lavender and hints of peach. Very inviting. Touches of soapiness and a dried out piney grip initially loosens to a peppery citrus, malt is light enough to quaff at a decent rate. Carbonation holds for most of the pint, I associate this too much with tanning Drams at the Whiskey Society over the years to have realised how watery the finish is. Maybe thats why!

Head: off-white, medium, frothy, diminishing. Colour: amber, clear. Aroma: citrus, tropical fruit. Taste: some fruitiness, moderate bitterness and the finish is somewhat watery. Decent, nevertheless.

Tap at Southern. I cant believe that Ive not rated this before since Ive definately drunk it in my rating period. Fresh and light - a sessionable beer that falls short in hop stakes for a modern IPA but remains a decent drink.

500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a good head. Great hoppy aroma. Flavours of a little grass, plenty of hops, a to check of honey. Dry and very hoppy with a good bitterness. Refreshing and really very nice.

Greatly hoppy, citrusy and fizzy beer. Hoppy aromas promise a lot on the nose and completely deliver in the flavour department. Perfect alternative to standard lagers...

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington market. Clear golden amber colour, thin white head and aroma of citrus & malt. Caramel malt with tangy citrus taste, some biscuity notes and a lingering bitterness. Light bodied, well carbonated. OK.

500 ml bottle. Nice citrus aroma, predominantly grapefruit. Light golden colour with a significant white head. Quite highly carbonated which is appealing in this style of beer. Not sweet, perhaps biscuity but with a pleasant bitter finish on the palate which does not overpower. One of Williams Bros. better offerings.

Pale Amber, white head. Soft Citrus floral nose. Biscuit malt profile, light hop bitterness in the finish. Bit watery. Pleasant enough, more like a pale ale than a big IPA.
