ganache (5846) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Bottle by MAY 2013. Sweet hoppy nose on a bed of caramel, pours a clear orange with a short soapy white head. Little bit of a sourish tang in the mouth, lightly sweet with lots of sticky caramel, some alcohol and low bitterness. Malt tastes like sick, some golden charm but playing fast and loose. Flavorful but aggressive medium-full body, and a lot more in-your-face than I’d prefer.

Patrickctenchi (6547) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUN 28, 2012
Pours hazy amber/orange..cloudy...small off-white head head. Very faint nose...a little spice...florals. Taste is somewhat like a scotch ale...toffee, malt,sweet...with a bit of hops...ends up not as candied as some Scotch’s .A nice take on the style, just enough hops to give it an unexpected edge. Enjoyed this one very much.

jookos (6735) - FINLAND - JUN 4, 2012
A bit grainy-malty, some sweetness. Floral hops. Quite drinkable and ok, but nothing too extraordinary. Somewhat of the classic Scottish candy/toffee malts is there, but not that much. Nice drink, but easily forgettable.

Idiosynkrasie (7419) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2012
500ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average to huge firm frothy white head. Floral hop aroma, malt flavour with a grainy touch. Floral hoppy taste, a touch of citrus, slightly grainy malt basis, floral hoppy finish.

Arve_Christian (5111) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 28, 2012
Backlog spring 2011 Bottle at Sørensen Dambskibs Ekspedition Golden color, ok foam Light/medium body & complexity- some hops Ok beer, but prefer american style ipa

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2012
bottle, kindly donated by jaghana. Clear golden, mid-sized white head. Hoppy with resiny flavours, slightly grassy, hints of citrus fruit and very shy hints of boiled vegetables. Good.

jackl (8011) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Keg @ The Whippet. Light gold color with a medium head. Weird nose - strong green peas, honey, light salt and grass. The taste is very light honey and straw grass. Not exactly a hop-forward beer. Light body. Overly carbonated. Overall, not very good.

Beersiveknown (5284) - NORTHERN IRELAND - MAY 19, 2012
Pale blonde with pithy grapefruit./black pepper nose. Lemon and malt character with medium carbonation.

spacecube (1705) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2012
Pours a clear golden brown with decent head. Big hoppy aroma to start. Some caramel and floral malts, but not much going on, lightly carbonated, slightly bitter at the end.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 27, 2012
On keg at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. A hoppy aroma of pine, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nice.
