3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber beer with a decent frothy head. Aroma is citrus with a hint of hop. The taste is mild citrus with a tangy, hoppy edge to it. Not much body to it. It’s quite nice and I imagine it’d be very pleasant to enjoy a few over a summer’s afternoon.
Love the beer, great alround IPA and it never produces a hang over for me top draw. je_corn (22) - - JAN 8, 2018
White, stable foam, clear bright golden colour. Very smooth ipa with well balanced hop flavors. Mainly citrus with a touch of caramel. A well rounded IPA that doesn’t try to impress by doing „top much“. beeebon (504) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2017
I found this to be a great example of a brewery trying to make an American style IPA and ultimately failing. Aroma is slightly citrusy before being overwashed with an over cooked vegetable type aroma. Drinkable but ultimately very average at best. redders1974 (1702) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2017
Node opens up nicely but quickly fades yo not much clean toffee light pine a bit on tje bland side for an ipa. undercurrent25 (2246) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2017

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2017 A real bargain bottle from Beer Hawk - 500ml of 5% for £1.99. Dark gold with a white head and a sweet toffee aroma. It’s light and sweet, not bitter. Mildly hopped. Drinkable but not a classic IPA. Dijan (24) - - OCT 9, 2017

Tap at golf inn, st andrews. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma has malts and some hops. Balanced malty body, fruity hops, hint of citrus notes. GoddamnNoise (210) - Pontevedra, SPAIN - SEP 5, 2017
50 cl. bottle @ Home.
Aroma: not very intense aromas of citrus, lime, grass. Floral-grassy overtones. No hints of malt aromas here. Hints of fruits (maybe peach or apricot), grapefruit, pine, resin.
Appearance: straw yellow to light golden color, perfectly clear and without hazyness. Perfectly white foam with high thickness, medium to high retention, low to medium Brussels' lacing, made of assorted-sized bubbles.
Taste: low sweetness, low to medium bitterness, very low to no sourness. Flavors of citrus, lime, grass, pine, resin, grapefruit, hints of fruits (maybe peach or apricot). Balance is on the bitter side. No hints of malt flavors here.
Palate: light to medium body, watery to oily texture, low carbonation, not very long dry bitter finish with flavors of lime, pine, resin, grass, citrus, grapefruit.
Overall: weak aromas and flavors of lime, citrus, pine, grass. No hints of malt aromas nor flavors. Maybe a layer of malt flavor in the background would improve the overall result. Not bad, but not one of the best IPAs i've tested by far. It lacks some strong fruit and tropical fruits flavors and aromas which are commonly found in the best IPAs. A bit more of body and carbonation would be better too. dunklermessias (386) - GERMANY - AUG 7, 2017
