UPDATED: APR 4, 2017 Pours deep black with a nice fine sheet of head. Rich and roasty aromas, coffee is rather prominent. Medium body. Roasty, quite malty flavours, chocolatey and again noticeable coffee, rich and smooth in the finish. Nicely balanced and bitter. Somewhat warm and bittersweet with chocolate notes in the lingering bitter finish. Actually really nice. ludos68 (59) - - MAR 6, 2017
Stout dai profumi di cioccolato e malto tostato. Al palato il corpo è leggero, sapori tostati di caffè, frutta secca e liquirizia nel finale.

Bottle. Nice and creamy stout. Good taste. Not spectacular. Very solid though. I’d rather drink this than Guinness any day.

Pours black. Lacing of dark tan head. Lots of cocoa aroma. Smells almost like a chocolate orange. There’s a lot of malt there. Medium body. Mineral finish. EdButterfield (28) - Dronfield, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2016
Bottle poured into glass. Aroma dark roast malt, standard for a stout. Pours a nice thick dark body with a small off-white head that lasts about as long as you’d expect from a bottled stout. Taste smooth, rich roasted malt with solid chocolate notes and surprisingly fruity characteristics - zesty orange peel? Leads into a slightly spicy finish. A solid stout. radassace (370) - SCOTLAND - NOV 28, 2016
Pours black with a small tan head. nose is chocolate malt spice and a hint of orange. Mouth feel is lactose and velvet. Taste is milk chocolate, roasted malt, orange peel and some spiciness, with a perfect amount of hop bitterness. This has always been one of my favourite Williams brothers beers. Awesome stuff.
