Malty aroma, light roast, chocoltar perhaps. Flavour had roast and light cofgee. Forgettable. brewerale (151) - - SEP 5, 2015
Pours hazy coffee brown with small light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and yeast, with notes of roast. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of malt and estery and fruity touches. Roasty aftertaste with estery notes. Decent. shoestring (401) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - AUG 15, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2015 Wee beauty. So dark and opague. Nice tan head. Chocolate on nose and palate. Nice stout that’s not got that bitter element that a lot do. Light enough too. Dark burnt peat mixed with cola. Would get one other point if head lasted as nice as initial pour Martind43 (1) - SCOTLAND - AUG 14, 2015 does not count
Several pints yesterday, on draught, Glasgow City Centre. Rich roasty coffee taste. Had bottles of this before, which I enjoyed, but better on draught.

Bottle. Black with a scant coat of light tan head. Not a whole lot of aroma - some chicory, roasted barley, light gruut-like spices. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Has filtered hardness to it that doesn’t do it any favours Miles away from "creamy". Not much sweetness, more chic than choc, a firm roasted barley note, that Scots coriander thing that I associate with Traquair. Started at 10C, liked it a little more as it warmed. Bottle from Beer Hawk. Fairly dark stout, quite high carbonation, didn’t raise too much of a head. A bit muddled flavours, some chocolate, tiny bit roasty, bit of hop. Didn’t quite come together. redders1974 (1472) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2015
