Pours cloudy dark ruby with half a finger of initially fairly soapy but then later creamy and pillowy light tan head, which retains well. Lacing is think Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, spices, a slightly herbal hop note and a little bit of fruitiness that is hard to pinpoint. Roasted malts provide a fair amount of bittnerness in the taste which goes well with the ever prominent dark chocolate, although the fruity note from the aroma is absent. The spicy note is however more pronounced, but overall the taste is a bit too watery. Body is thin and carbonation is soft, but the texture is smooth enough to make for pleasant drinking, helped by a good alcohol warmth on the finish. If it were little bit less watery this would be a fantastic brew, but it’s still pleasant enough as it is.

chocolate and coriander aromas from a think black body thin creamy head, medium sweetness an intense dark chocolate bitterness with that coriander coming through in the aftertaste, full body, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish. this was really rather good though it is very rich tasting!

Nieprzenikniona czerń z kremową, jasnobeżową, dość szybko zanikajacą pianką. Lekki zapach na granicy kawy i czekolady. W smaku - najpierw lekka kawowość i mleczna czekolada, z kwaskowatą, owocową goryczką. Bardzo pijalne.

Bottle, 500ml. Black colour with a medium brown head. A roasted malt aroma with some wet dog notes. Flavour of roasted malt with coffee, treacle and a little chocolate. A little citrus in the finish with a bit of a funky kick (probably the coriander). Watery on the palate. Sounds like a cross between a stout and a Belgian wit; doesn’t really work for me.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown with some red tinges and a foamy head. Roasted malt, chocolate orange and a hint of coffee in the aroma. Roasted and zesty taste with orange, chocolate, coffee and roasted malt detected. Interesting and easy to drink.

Butelka. Barwa czarna z ładnie oblepiającą pianą. W aromacie palone słody, czekolada, kremowość, kolendra. Piwo jest gładkie, w smaku dominuje mleczna czekolada, paloność, śmietnkowość. Bardzo pijalne.

Bottle 50cl, a dark beer with medium copper head. Nose is malty with fruity touch such as over ripped apples and apricot notes. Aroma is on a creamy chocolate and smooth coffee, light red fruit acidity, less sweet, roasted finish with still fruit acidity. Easy drinkable, good chocolate body.

500ml bottle. Big bubbly light tan head, goes down quickly, decent lacing. Very dark brown body. Nose of dark chocolate, berries, hint of cinnamon. Flavour is roast coffee, dark fruit, cream. A little hoppy bitterness on the finish. Creamy full mouthfeel, light carbonation. A very easy drinking stout and one of Williams Brothers finest efforts.
