50 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Pours very dark brown with some ruby tones. Medium creamy brown head that leaves a good lacing. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Medium body and a light bitterness. Good one but not that complex.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2017 Pours deep black with a nice fine sheet of head. Rich and roasty aromas, coffee is rather prominent. Medium body. Roasty, quite malty flavours, chocolatey and again noticeable coffee, rich and smooth in the finish. Nicely balanced and bitter. Somewhat warm and bittersweet with chocolate notes in the lingering bitter finish. Actually really nice.

Bottle poured into glass. Aroma dark roast malt, standard for a stout. Pours a nice thick dark body with a small off-white head that lasts about as long as youd expect from a bottled stout. Taste smooth, rich roasted malt with solid chocolate notes and surprisingly fruity characteristics - zesty orange peel? Leads into a slightly spicy finish. A solid stout.

Pours black with a small tan head. nose is chocolate malt spice and a hint of orange. Mouth feel is lactose and velvet. Taste is milk chocolate, roasted malt, orange peel and some spiciness, with a perfect amount of hop bitterness. This has always been one of my favourite Williams brothers beers. Awesome stuff.
