50 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Pours very dark brown with some ruby tones. Medium creamy brown head that leaves a good lacing. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Medium body and a light bitterness. Good one but not that complex.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2017 Good stout. Could have a bit more punch to it.

One of the best Stouts I’ve ever tasted. Strong, but velvety. It was accompanied by a good cigar.

Let syrlig, gor dyb eftersmag af chokolade. Ikke en tyk og bitter stout, men en cremet øl der er virker læskende.

500ml bottle from the Queen's Hall, Edinburgh during the interval. Nice one from Williams Bros. A creamy milk stout, almost mocha. Quite malty too. Decent bottle and easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Deepest dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of light ash, roast malt, a little cola. The soft cocoa tones give a creamy mocha sensation. Raisins there too. Flavours have plenty dark chocolate. The deep roast layers adds bitterness with a light grassy finish. Has a gentle dry sparkle with a medium soft body. A dark roasty core builds layers of flavour and body although the overall impression is one of a lighter stout. Very nice.

0,5 l Flasche. Schwarzes Bier mit braunem cremigem Schaum. Geruch ist dezent röstig. Geschmack Röstmalz. Recht süffig. Orangenschale ist im Finish zu erahnen.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2017 Pours deep black with a nice fine sheet of head. Rich and roasty aromas, coffee is rather prominent. Medium body. Roasty, quite malty flavours, chocolatey and again noticeable coffee, rich and smooth in the finish. Nicely balanced and bitter. Somewhat warm and bittersweet with chocolate notes in the lingering bitter finish. Actually really nice.

Stout dai profumi di cioccolato e malto tostato. Al palato il corpo è leggero, sapori tostati di caffè, frutta secca e liquirizia nel finale.
