8,11,11,11,12,11 - 10,75

Not too great a beer this one. Trying to create a nice image in the description maybe because of the beer itself is quite poor.

500ml Bottle: BBD of Jan 2014. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 10 Mar 2013. Nice looking brew: pale amber with a creamy head of off-white foam. Nose and taste ruled by fruity hop notes with semi-sweet maltiness just below the surface. Nicely balanced beer with enough going on to excite the taste buds and leave you wanting another bottle. it was snowing outside when I had this: no Sun to be seen!

500 ml bottle. BB Feb 2014. (K-Citymarket) Espoo, Finland.
Clear amber colour with a small to average sized off-white head. The aroma is floral hops, fruits, dry wood and malt. And the flavour is... hmmm... it’s like a candy. I just can’t recall which... Very familiar flavour. Caramel sweetness, woody and nutty dryness, lots of malt and candy hops in the flavour. Tasty.

Marduk (8218) - Reval, ESTONIA - FEB 11, 2013
500ml bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Clear hazelnut color. Thin white head, stays. Good lacing. Donuts glaze, aromatic hops, sky blue color in aroma. Perfume, delicious, slightly grainy and fresh notes in flavor. It is so aromatic and fresh smelling that I consider start using it as an aftershave!

500ml bottle (K Kamppi, Tallinn)
Deep orange, small off-white head. Sweeeeet, but also lemony aroma, just like a glaze on a cake. Some nice realy almost-eco-like but in a good way barley graininess. It’s not the fullest of palates, it’s quite light and refreshing with the crisp carbonation, with a the gentle bite of bitterness too. The taste is absolutely unique. It’s so much the cake glaze again, very sweet, but so citrussy, in particular lemony. Just a little bit of mineralliness in the finish, but for a 4.1% beer, it’s not doing abad job at not seeming watery. Extremely quirky, I can imagine people either loving this or hating it. To me, it’s supremely drinkable, and definitely fun.

Pours a clear amber color with a small light tan head that disappears rather quickly. I’m not getting a lot on the nose, some fruit, malt... the taste shows the fruit, some breadiness it ends dry but not bitter. Fairly light in body with timid carbonation. Overall a nice easy drinking brew.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark gold with a thick and steady white head. Nose is quite fruity, with a hint of pineapple and a bit of plum. Some sweet maltiness in there too. Bubbly, fruity and quite light in the mouth. Some nice sweet citrus tastes. Tangerine, some more plum, a little grapefruit. Tasty!
