Bottled from Systembolaget
Clear golden with a large, white head.
Fresh citric aroma with some grassy hoppiness.
Thick, almost oily palate.
Dry, medium bitterness.
Fruity flavour with apricots and plum. Ingevara (910) - SWEDEN - MAY 24, 2010
Pale yellow. Average head. dry flavor with a sturdy hoppyness that dominates the impression. A real thirstkiller. I can’t find much sweetness in this one, but a lot of charachter. Very good - but with a potential of improving. Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 20, 2010
(Bottle) Pours clear pale golden with a white head. The aroma is of lime, lemon, mild perfume, mild wet grass, wet crisp bread, wet crackers, earth and tart apricots. Undertones of almond paste, tobacco, milky toffee and herb juice. The flavour is light sweet to dry and light to medium bitter. Some acidic hits on the finish. Tones of mild citrus, dry pale malt (bread, crackers and crisp bread) and tart fruits. The mouthfeel is juicy, clean and light watery. Light to medium carbonation. Perfume-ish and bready aftertaste. Light tart. Light bodied. dnoaksson (826) - , SWEDEN - MAY 20, 2010
Mustig öl med brödiga toner. Anlägger en berså av smaker och väver in en i en dröm av delikata färger. En klar favorit. finol (3500) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 18, 2010
Pours golden with a shortlasting white head.
Well balanced grape fruit and caramell taste and aroma.
gyllenbock (9862) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 18, 2010
Clear golden with a large white head. Aroma of citrus, bread, malt and grass. The same in the taste. Ok beer but a little on the thin side. konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2010
I’m not really getting the supposed hoppiness in this one. Maybe I need to try it again? Malty caramel flavors, soft and easy-to-drink, but lacking too much flavor to be interesting. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2010
Bottle. Golden, offwhite head. Fresh perfume aroma, malty with toffee notes, and some cream. Malty toffee flavor with hoppy perfume. Decent bitter finish. olsvammel (7289) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2010
Clear golden liquid with a small white head that left an even layer of foam on the side of the glass.
Malt, hops, citrus and grass.
Grassy hops, citrsu, malt and hay.
Slightly thicker then average body and medium smooth with just a bit of harshness.
Very nice. This is the kind of beer you could drink pints of. Very easy to drink and even though it has a fairly low ABV it still has allot of flavour. I would have expected it to have a watery light body and little to no flavour. But it has both plenty of hop aroma (not even close to a hoppy IPA though) and an enjoyable bitterness.
If I where to sum up the flavour of this beer I would say it tastes like summer. I believe this is when it should be enjoyed, on a hot summer day. It’s a great thirst quencher but it also works well with food. I had it with some pizza sandwiches that came steaming straight out of the oven and it was a great match. I can imagine this beer would work well with most of the ordinary pub food, burgers and such. ekstedt (6977) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 10, 2010
Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep golden, large white head. Earthy haysish malt aroma with spicy, herbal, and grassy hops. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Dry with a firm lingering bitterness. A very good thirst quencher.
