Bottle - Pours pale straw with spritzy head. Some flowery aroma, but cardboard coming over the top. There is a hint of pale ale flavour up front but this is replaced by something metallic and the finish reminds me of a warm can of harp lager down the park sometime in the late 80’s.

330ml bottle into schooner. Grainy citrus nose, very pale yellow beer with solid white head. Medium carbonation. Sharp mineral water texture and taste. Finish is grainy and lightly citric with rockmelon right at the end. Average ’Aussie’ pale ale. Why is it classified as a Cream Ale?

330ml bottle in Melbourne. Clear bright golden with a small white head. Nose and taste has malt grains and a mild orangey citrus hop finish. Medium-light body and average carbonation. A pretty nondeScript pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottled - from the local bottle shop in stockton - where if they stock it you know it can’t be much good. pale, lightly hazed golden, simple citrus aroma with a bit of hay; low bitterness, slightly sudsy; tevs

330ml bottle. Orange- and lemon-toned citrus with a fair pale malt and grain core. Light-bodied, medium carbonation with a moderate length, relatively low intensity finish. Basic, sure. Bad? Far from it.

From a bottle. Not the worst pale around, not the best, a bit like Coopers which is no crime.

I found this in my local cut price bottle shop and didn’t expect much, however it is quite a nice refreshing, very pale ale. My bottles are certified organic, slightly different lable from the one shown here. On a hot day it’s a good little thirst quencher, at a very reasonable price.

Nice rockmelon aroma. Clear golden colour with no head. Nice hop flavours up front with smooth malty profile throughout. Medium body with low carbonation.

Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Film of mucky white head. Sweet, juicy malt. Light citrus. Rubber. Taste is mostly dry, with a little malty sweetness. Decent body. Finish is dry. Quite enjoyed this, on a hot day. Gone in 60 seconds...

330 mil bottle nice hoppy aroma golden in colour with white fruity hops on the taste ok

Bathory (458) - Kverneland, NORWAY - JAN 20, 2014
Cloudy straw-yellow colour with a okey white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus and some eartyness. Flavour is a bir disappointing though, faint honeymelon, hay and some hints of wood. Low bitter finish A bit watery, but quite refreshing mouthfeel. Overall, it’s an okey beer.
