Dark brown color. Big chocolate fudge nose with modest bourbon. The mouth is super chocolately, fairly sweet with bourbon notes. Very much like a dessert beer. Big sweet chocolate fudge and slightly bourbon finish. A bit too much, but good sharing beer.

My Bottom Line:BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - OCT 27, 2014
Prevalent bourbon oversees this Porter’s caramel and roasted malts for a nearly linear experience.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the darkest brown.
-Bourbon is too intense in the nose and flavor profile for my tastes. The Porter feels overwhelmed.
-The mouthfeel is silky and rich.
-Alcohol is warming throughout.
65cl, as AleWerks Bourbon Barrel Porter, exclusive American brew, thx alot to Secret Santa!, complex sweet Porter, roasted/sweet and slightly alcoholic/woody/fruity, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, small head, good brew
