Amber-brown in colour, thin tan coloured head, light lacing. The aroma is of light piney hops, some caramel sweetness, earthy, some fruit. The flavour has quite a hop bite, a toffee sweetness but at the same time rather bitter, seems sugary. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes quite long, lots of hops, some sweetness, dry. Not bad, got a bit boring.

22 oz bomber-Pours a cloudy brown color w/a moderate carbonated head. Had a real malt presence to it, w/traces of caramel, bread dough, plum, cane sugar, & figs. This was good, but would probibly be better w/some age on it, would let it develop some deeper flavors. Not much hop to it. Long, sweet finish. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2007
Bottle. Pours a murky brown-mahogany body with a creamy eggshell white head. The aroma has some grape and cherries along with notes of caramel and bread. Warming body with flavours of cocoa, caramel, toast, and dark plummy fruits. Finishes dry and fruity. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - OCT 21, 2007
22oz bottle, #1898 of 2007, courtesy of jasonp. Thanks, Jason! Pours a murky, cherry cola color; minimal khaki head. Dried dark fruits and citrus / earthy hops in the aroma. Medium-to-full, earthy and maple syrup mouthfeel: dense maltiness (maple syrup, candy sugar) with a mild hop presence; very much on the sweet side. Lengthy, candy sugar and maple syrup finish. 3fourths (9345) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 20, 2007
22oz bottle. Dark red and ruby wine colored body. Sharp tobacco and plum and coarse cherry malts tasted, with some lightly toasted bread and black cherries in the nose as well. Little yeast apparency, overall slightly sweet, moderately thick, and certainly drinkable.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of egajdzis. Bottle # 0868 of 2007 (props for giving not only the bottle number, but the number of bottles bottled!). Poured a medium and clear orangish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, oranges/orange peels, and toffee. Tastes of caramel, citrus, chocoalte, and roast. Light alcohol in the finish. egajdzis (6580) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2007
Poured a hazy brown color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, citrus, tropical fruits, and a bit of roasted malts as well. Taste of citrus, toffee malts, roast, some coca, and a light bitterness in the finish. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - SEP 13, 2007
Thanks to egajdzis. Pours a hazy reddish/brown/amber with a small bubbly/creamy off white head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, vanilla, some toffee. Flavor of hops, some bitterness, toffee, nuts, some smoke and coffee. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - SEP 11, 2007
Bottle; poured a nice reddish brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruit and chocolate. Flavor was similar to the aroma; had components of an american strong ale, barleywine and a belgian style beer. Probably should have cellared it before drinking; didn’t read that it was designed for that until too late. Still it has some good favors, it just isn’t as developed or smooth as it could be. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007
