Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Elwood. Pours an opaque pitch black with a small light brown head. Both coffee and Bourbon comes through nicely in the nose. Rich and filling body, lowish carbonation. Sweet roast, quite some molasses and cocoa with the vanillaish Bourbon notes rounding things off perfectly. No real bitterness. Lovely. 221112 jcartamdg (3470) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Pours jet black with a dark brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, oak, and coffee. Taste follows, coffee, vanilla, creamy chocolate and bourbon. Really tasty. Smooth, creamy and rich. Bourbon is present but not over the top, nice balanced BA stout

Poured from a 22oz bottle, aged 2 years in my cellar. Pours a thick, inky black topped with a smallish light brown head which dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is heft dollops of coffee, rich earthy hops and traces of whiskey. Taste is again big on the coffee but with a very dense, rich caramel element, the traces of whiskey in the nose become more noticeable in the taste, with bits of oak and vanilla seeping through. Full bodied and delicious. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 23, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2012 Bottle. Pour is dark brown with a small tan head which quickly disappears leaving spotty lacing. Nose shows bitter espresso notes with a great balance of sweetness behind it all. Light vanilla a d subtle cocoa powder. A touch if coconut comes through behind the bourbon notes. Taste is smooth and balanced between ice coffee and light bourbon. Sweetness balances this perfectly. Creamy mouthfeel with a touch of heat. Damn tasty

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with paperthin beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is smokey malt and chocolate. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet vanilla and coffee with a light boozey finish. A good Imperial stout from Williamsburg AleWorks.
