3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
THOUGHTS: Solid pale ale. Nothing crazy, just well made.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that kept a thin sheet and left fair lacing. The aroma was a little weak, but contained light caramel and pale malts; light to moderate citrus hops; light pine hops; and slight mint hops. The initial flavor was slightly sweet and moderately bitter; while the finish was lightly sweet and nearly heavily bitter with fairly long duration. There was pale malt, honey, slight caramel, citrus hops, resinous hops, apricot, peach. The medium body was slightly watery with tingly carbonation and a lightly astringent and slightly metallic finish.
My 2017 bottle has a different label and says 5.6%.
Nice and refreshing. What more to 75 characters

Vague citrous-y aftertaste to a generally light malty start. A bit heavier mouth feel than one might expect. Nothing extraordinary but a solid beer

The appearance was a semi-cloudy slightly golden to bronze sort of color with a quarter finger’s worth of white foamy head. Mildly dissipated to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had a faint citrusy sweet pulpiness up front with a little bit of mango strolling underneath. Light malt body.
The flavor blended the hops to the malts fairly nice, sweet to bitter and almost coming together. It blended more in the aftertaste and definitely had a sturdy little blended hops to maltiness in the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty decent APA that I could have again if I could get it.
Draught @ Dulles Irport. Cloudy golden with small creamy white head, faint citrus peel aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter malty taste with some citrus and mango, smooth body, medium bitter finish. Smooth but not too remarkable JDBaker11058 (2404) - Maryland, USA - SEP 7, 2016

On tap at Symon, Dulles airport. Hazy orange body with thin head. Nose is sweet, floral, citrus. oranges. Taste is also fruity, sweet, with lots of hop. Nice fruity kick in the finish. Fair enough.
