This is one of my favorite pumpkin beers. Smells of pumpkin pie and nutmeg, nice lacing, pours nice amber color, and it is quite drinkable. This is one fine brew.
Dark copper orange from the bottle. Nice nose and flavor of fresh baked pie - spices are there, well balanced with a creamy feel and taste and a bit of pie crust for good measure. JStax (7318) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 13, 2017
12 ounce bottle poured into a snifter. The beer is a clear copper with a white head of foam. The aroma has a nice balance of spices and bready crust. Nutmeg and cinnamon play well together along with a creamy whipped cream character and a crisp crust. Nails the pumpkin pie persona. chinchill (5396) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 19, 2017
12 oz bottle from VA.
This is a highly spiced pumpkin ale. Typically, that would hurt my rating but the spice mix here is so appealing, especially in the nose, that i enjoy it. This tasty ale will be too sweet and/or too spiced for some. Emeister84 (2664) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - OCT 10, 2016
On tap at World of Beer (Charlottesville, VA). Smells like pumpkin pie. Clear orange-gold with a fairly lasting white head. Sweet, lots of pumpkin and spices. Medium bodied. stephen57 (36) - Midlothian, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Poured aggressively. Small head. Little carbonation. You smell the spices up front and right away! Great color! Taste the pumpkin and other spices right off! Very smooth and sessionable but beware the high alcohol content! It will sneak up on you at 8%. Excellent and well made beer! Best Pumpkin beer I ever had. SEH!!

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear amber color with a small white head. The flavor is a great pumpkin flavor with a semi-dry finish. An excellent pumpkin ale. GenDV138 (7900) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - OCT 18, 2015
4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Hazy orangish brown with off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin, spices, light caramel. Tastes of big pumpkin, cinnamon, spices, caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. One of my favorite pumpkin ales. Strykzone (7807) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 25, 2015
Sampled at gabf. Looks like most pumpkin beers. I smell spices but also a hint if hops. Pumpkin flavor leads with those fall spices. Interestng euro hop bitterness that few have. Dryness. The hops maje a difference. Maverick34 (3393) - New York, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Orangey amber pour with a white hea d. Your cinnamon graham cracker aroma. Pretty decent. hman43 (1898) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - AUG 1, 2015
It pours a very clear dark amber with tinges of orange. It has a full head. It has aromas of pumpkin, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices. It has a sweet, rich taste, highlight by pumpkin, cinnamon, and brown sugar. This would be what I would imagine pumpkin pie would taste like as a beer.
