Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, lots of pine, spice, sage. Tastes bitter and dry with a lot of resiny goodness. Finishes citrussy with a complimentary bitterness. kevd193213 (992) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - JUN 29, 2008

(growler, thanks Immy) Small off-white head atop cloudy copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, pineapple, mango. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit/pineapple, orange, mango, some caramel, some alcohol warming. Sticky full body. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 25, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2013 Growler shared by Immy. Cloudy dark wheat or orange colored body. Intense, deep, rich nose of pineapple juice (very pure) and orange citrus. Amazingly sticky and dank and juicy, pure pineapple juice all over this one. Lightly acidic citrus, sharp but wet, very smooth overall... this is how double IPA should be. kmweaver (3208) - Petaluma, California, USA - JUN 25, 2008
Growler, courtesy of Immy. Thanks for bringing this, Tim! Pours a murky, medium, golden-orange color; thin, light tan head with patchy lacing. Loads of pineapple, oranges, mineral bitterness in the aroma; very juicy, resiny loveliness; gorgeous hop character. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: huge amounts of pineapples and oranges; resiny, spicy, acidic and juicy hoppiness; very generous; lively acidity and citrus; just tasty, softly bitter, yummy stuff. Lengthy finish: tongue-numbing bitterness; grapefruit, oranges, and plenty of resins and juice.

Special thnks to Tim for sharing his growler. Poured a cloudy golden orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts with citrus hops. Flavor starts off with a citrus rind then fades into an orange flavor the caramel malt then peaks out and then you get the hop bitterness. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - JUN 18, 2008
12 oz draft at the brewpub. Murky dirty gold with a thin, off white head. Sweet citrus nose, grapefruit and orange, sweet caramel and brown sugar. Thick body, but with decent carbonation to lighten things up a bit. The flavor is initially a citrus rind smack of bitterness, but merges into a sweet orange, some light sweet caramel behind it. Lingering bitter citrus finish. A delightful devil!
