Draught @ Brewpub: this one pours a dark coppery color. it was crystal clear. There was no head or lacing. There was a malty nose, but not much sweetness. Earthy notes also. the taste is very good. Caramel malts, some sweetness, faint wheat, earthiness and a slight dryness to the finish. Nice. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Pours dark amber with an off white head. Smells of sweet malt, some floral notes. Tastes minerally and semi sweet with some peppery splashes on the finish. tgncc (3132) - Bellmore, New York, USA - SEP 18, 2012
The aroma is caramel, fruit. The appearance is dark amber, off white head. The flavor is swweet, caramel, fruity. The finish is sweet, with some noble hops coming in toward the end. Pretty good. Reynolds314 (3450) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 15, 2012

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of toffee, faint nuts and mild herbal hops. The taste is toffee, caramel, nuts and a bitter hop finish. A bit too sweet, but still a good beer. Thin-medium bodied.
