Tap at the brewpub. Aroma bursting with fresh citrus hop character, orange, grapefruit, lemon, some peach as well. Flavor keeps the hops coming though also gets a bit taken down by residual sweetness. Great display of hops, not as great getting rid of distractions. j12601 (13033) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 12, 2009
Pouring at the Brass City Brew Fest. Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Interesting aromas, bouncing between fruity and hoppy, loaded with nice citrus notes. Sweet and hoppy, medium bodied. Light grapefruit bitterness, and just barely a hint of metal. Tasty.

Growler. Poured a slightly hazed copper color with a large beige head. The aroma was nice with dusty, floral and spicy notes.. Light malt. The flavor had some sweetness. Spicy hops and a dry very long finish. moderately bitter finish. Medium bodied. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - DEC 6, 2008
Deep orange, light amber in color. Aroma is phenolicy and estery with a good deal of citrus hops. Taste is a good fusion between an IPA and Belgian strong- Alot of citrus and pine hops as well as a good amount of estery and spicy yeast. It does get a bit dirty mid palate, if that makes sense. Some candi sugar. Finishes bitter with lingering belgian yeast spice. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 29, 2008
Pours mostly hazy murky bright yellowish orange with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is nice citrusy hops blended with a good belgian phenolic yeast, doughy yeast and maltiness, but lots of pine and some grapefruit. Flavor is lightly sweet with bready pils malts, earthy raw bitterness and citrusy pine with a good tacky raw bitterness and a mostly dry finish. Not quite as refined as I would like, but defintiely a solid belgian DIPA.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells resiny and floral with a hint of dry malt. Tastes earthy and peppery with a dry finish. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - APR 8, 2008
Growler, thanks to Omar. Light clear copper with a white head. Mint, pine, phenolic banana in the nose - neat. Sharp, resinous, piney hops, dark caramel, mint, banana, menthol and toffee. Ends sharp and biting. Full, round with lively fine-beaded carbonation. Kudos to the brewer for trying something interesting - just wasn’t my thing. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - FEB 19, 2008
Clear golden body with a medium-sized white head. The nose is lightly sweet and fruity with banana, apple, herbs and pepper. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter and medicinal with herbs, cotton candy, apple and pear. Medium body is rough and astringent with moderate carbonation. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - OCT 21, 2007
Growler, courtesy of Omar. Pours an oily, yellowish-brown color; off-white head with great retention and cascading, fine-bubbled lacing. Chewy bubble gum and Belgian sugars in the aroma; cotton candy, minerals, and herbal hops; excellent hybrid character in the nose. Full mouthfeel: piney / herbal hops merged with a solid, estery and Belgian sugar malt core; decent hybridity, with a very mild astringency and chewy core. Lengthy, piney / herbal hop and belgian sugar finish; a decent show of alcohol. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 21, 2007
