Growler provided by kmweaver via Omar. Hazy amber body with a medium, creamy tan head. The nose is sweet and hoppy with flowers, grapefruit and caramel. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with tea, caramel and tangerine. Medium body is very soft with light carbonation and a bitter finish. portermax55 (118) - Canterbury, Connecticut, USA - NOV 16, 2007
Draft from the brewpub. One of my favorite WilliBrews! Pours a cloudy amber with a thin white head. Heavy aromas of hops, grapefruit, orange and pine. Flavor is of bitter hops, grapefruit and pine with a slight, but noticable sweet toffee finish. Has a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. An excellent IPA. Plan on filling a few growlers on my next visit. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - OCT 21, 2007
Growler, courtesy of Omar. Pours a hazy, bright orange-amber color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Resiny, wet hop and chewy oranges in the aroma; very floral and fresh. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: great, chewy orange and resiny hop presence (oranges, juicy fruits, passion fruit); excellent hop character and density; very drinkable, with a slight oiliness in the palate; lengthy, orange and floral hop finish.

(10/18/07, growler, thanks kmweaver and Omar) Creamy beige head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, light bread, wood. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/pine, caramel, light lemon. Resinous medium body. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 19, 2007
Growler thanks to Omar and Ken. Nose of pine sap, hop oil, cedar wood and oilives. Juicy flavor of cedar wood, honey, semi-sweet resinous and oily hops. Mild bitterness, smooth overall, and quite nice, with a grassy finish. Good stuff. Stine (1795) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 19, 2007
Poured from a growler. Thick but fairly transparent tangerine orange color. Brilliantly dank, vinous aroma that reaches to the heart of delicious, farmer’s market freshness; notes of pine, mint leaves, orange rind, and tropical fruit. Kiwi and citrus. Crisp and fruity taste, pure with sparkling newness like a morning dew; grassy and lavender floral tones play prominently, with understated candy sweetness balancing underneath. Texture is a simple hop paste; pine nuts and woods dry out the finish. A lovely, well-bridled example. Cheers to Omar for procuring the goods, and thanks for sharing, Ken! Yet another IPA from Willimantic and one of the better ones I’ve tried. Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of citrus and perfumy with some wintery splashes. Tastes of pine resin with some nice even bitterness as the beer warms. The malt is present in the background and compliments this one nicely. Cottrell (72) - Connecticut, USA - APR 30, 2005
Hazy orange, left great lacing. Smells strongly of citrus hops, orange peel, and piney hops. Flavor starts sweet caramel malt, sweet citric hops, then turns sharply bitter with a great piney resinous and slightly grassy hop flavor. Excellent stuff, I just can’t get enough of these Willibrew IPAs.
