Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of sweet caramel, citrus, some earthy hints. Tastes citrussy with some nice caramel. Finishes semi sweet. Nice. kevd193213 (992) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Draught. Amber pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt and faint caramel. Taste of malt and nuts with a watery finish. Not terrible, but not one of their better offerings. Immy (1955) - Virginia Beach, USA - JUN 23, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Clear, dark reddish amber with a beige head. Very nice, nutty caramel nose, some biscuity notes. Flavor is much the same. None of the metallic flavors and scents I find so common in reds. Medium bodied. An excellent session ale, pairs well with most food.
