On tap at Main St. Cafe. Man I love this joint. If you live in or travel through CT, make sure to stop here. This IPA is in a long line of incredible IPAs that brewmaster David Wollner has mastered. Murky dark copper color with almost no head. Aroma is all citrussy hops. This is as smooth as smooth could be. Flavor is malty sweet caramel, followed by the perfect amount of hop flavor. Grapefruit and piney to begin with, and a strong biting bitterness in the finish. A huge hop flavor is more than welcome. Don’t miss out on this one.

Fresh grapefruit aroma. Solid bitterness to be sure, but friendly as well. Slightly hazy dark yellow. Pretty good beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 2, 2004
Cloudy copper body. Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is medium-intesity grapefruit, slight caramel. Medium body, slightly chewy. Nice hoppy beer. UnionMade (621) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 18, 2003
Completely over the top. Beer arrives poured a cloudy golden color, with only a light lacing of head. Aroma is pure hops. West coast to the hilt. Flavor is all hops, as well. There's really no initial taste, with hops coming through in the middle and finishing the beer powerfully. Bitter as hell. I think perhaps a bit more body and double the malt would make this a real winner, but I'm not a believer at this point. vwsteggie (684) - Paxton, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 17, 2003
Has a light amber color and a light fruit smell. Taste is lightly hopped and finishes with a little bitterness. Overall a "smooth" IPA which is not bad, but I perfer their other IPA to this one.
