On tap at the brewpub. Best beer of the afternoon for sure, really surprised. I would have expected to have hated an English Pale Ale, but this was crisp, lip smacking, and deliciously hoppy. I think the best part of it is transforming what we Americans see as a ho-hum traditional English hop into something brilliant, vibrant, and in many ways just a juicy, gummy, and sticky as the American IPA hop flavors. This starts with an understated, clean tan malt flavor and then quickly explodes with a pineapple, golden apple, and green juicy hop note that finishes off gracefully. On tap at willibrew. You can tell this is english malts and yeast strain. That light malty flavor. Again some pine type trees from the east kent goldings. Overall, drinkable but not memorable.
