on draft at brewery, very easydrinking, a tad bit thin and lightly hopped, an outside in the sun treat

Draft at the source. Hazy brown color, bright white edge head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is sour grapefruit and caramel. Interesting.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one poured a clear, coppery color. Mine had almost no head, but left just a touch of lacing. The aroma is nice. It has a roasty, slightly smoky aroma. Faint malts also. The taste is pretty good. A bit of roastiness up front, along with some slightly sweet caramel. No real bitterness at all. Some very faint spices in the background. Nice

Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells earthy. Tastes of caramel with some peppery splashes on the finish.

On tap, tasted from Bram’s order. Pours yellow-orange with a small head. Aroma was relatively faint. Flavor featured pronounced caramel and nutty notes, while maintaining refreshing drinkability. This wasn’t my favorite offering, but since it was a hit for the lighter-beer opting crowd I was with, I guess I gotta give it props!

sampled at Willimantic. Deep, slighly hazy amber in color with a lasting small head. Aroma is malty- with caramel/molasses, some toasted and crystal malt, maybe even a touch of chocolate?, and some nice light to moderate floral hop character. Taste is malty with caramel, molasses, some sweet crystal malt, and a nice underlying floral and mild citrus hoppiness. Light bready yeast. Medium bodied, with a light hop bittering, balanced finish. I really enjoyed this one.
