Served in shaker golden, clear, no head. Medium bodied with mild hops flavor up front and a malty finish. Disappointing as Willibrew beers go, but not unpleasant. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Draft at brewpub. Pours clear gold with white head. nose/taste of lemon, toasted grain, honey and touch of fruit. Medium body. Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - APR 29, 2013
Simple and too style. Cracker and doughy malts with a fair amount of sweetness. Hops are non existent really but still not too much out of balance. Decent stuff. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - APR 28, 2013
on draft at the brewery, good malt flavors adn rich crisp bite. Very well made, I really liked it, simple and charming. LilBeerDoctor (4147) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown/amber with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet malt (very malt dominated) and light hops. Flavor was more in the same vain...lots of malt and a sweet finish. Still, quite drinkable and nice to gulp down.

Tap at the brewpub. Aroma of red fruits and big caramel malt sweetness. Flavor continues to feature huge malts with little hop balance. Very full bodied, seemingly tons of residuals. A malt bomb of a maibock. Lubiere (14131) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 5, 2009
A golden bock with a thin creamy white head. A light caramel aroma. Sweet biscuitty malts with light hopping and light nuttyness. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Inbièrenationale IV, May 2007. Miguel (1181) - Saint-Ours, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 21, 2007
Robe blonde sans mousse. Arômes de malt caramel et de fruits. Saveurs de malt caramel et de fruits. Texture crémeuse. Cletus (6353) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 14, 2006
Pours copper with a white head. Smells fruity with mellow hop presence. Taste is syruppy and fruity. Much more sweet than I am used to in a maibock. ClarkVV (6839) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 6, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2006 Draught pint at the brewpub on 4/29/06
Brassy-bronze body has light copper hues with a golden overtone. Off-white head is well-retained, receding to partial cover, eventually, with little to no lacing. High clarity and a rush of bubbles.
Grassy, lightly spicy hops open up the aroma, with a smattering of honey drops, lightly sweetening things, as a crisp yeast wraps things up on the finish. Baked dough is dry, but not overly aromatic, keeping things light, but adding some complexity to the otherwise mainly pils-like malt tones. Not terribly sour, and not overly bready, with a medium strength and no alcohol apparency. Almost could mistake it for a golden ale, with the dominant honey malt and light, grassy hops.
Some bread mixes with water, as light farmy-hay-like minerals and grassiness add a smooth texture and some spiciness on the end. Grows a touch sourish as it warms, with the munich malt emerging more, but still finishes with a sticky, honey creaminess, fairly sweet. Medium carbonation. No alcohol apparency.
