3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft sample at the source. The beer is a dark brown with a beige head of foam. The aroma has ashy chocolate and roasty coffee. Taste is more chocolate, but I get a bit of raisin as well. Medium body and medium carbonation.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery: Pours a dark brown / black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses, and cocoa. Taste is nice and thick, with lots of roasted malt and a little sweetness / raisin from the molasses. Usually WBC has pretty weak stouts, but this one is really nice. Medium to heavy body, lots of flavor, sticky mouthfeel. Well done.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at the brewery. Pours almost black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted, chocolate, and bread from the malts, some light oyster and molasses notes, and a light bitterness. Flavor a nice blend of everything. Smooth texture. A good stout.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at the Harvest Beer Dinner. Standout beer of the event by far. This is the best sub 6% stout ive ever had by a long shot. Pours pitch black with brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, mollases, and ash. Taste is fantastically roasty and robust with mineraly notes and superb thick rich mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this beer.
