Draught @ Brewpub: This one poured a Very dark golden color that had a red tint to it. There was a small off-white head that left no lacing. The nose was somewhat spicy. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy brown with a small off white head. Aroma of lots of spices, water chestnut, spruce, and pepper. It reminds me of those Christmas ales. Flavor is also quite spicy upfront with some wheat in the finish. Like the name suggests, this beer is strongly spiced. Pours rust/copper with an off white head. Smells of sweet wheat, fruity, dry, yeasty. Tastes fruity and yeasty with some touches of honey on the finish.
