Tap sample at OBW. Poured clear copper hue with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate aroma of citrus hops and sweet malt. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of malt and hops with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid drinkable brew. phaleslu (10101) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Draft at Pigskin in Athens during Ohio Brew Week. Pours a clear orange color with a small off-white head that laces the glass. Notes of florals, citrus fruits, dry grains, pale malts, grass, and straw. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a bitter mouthfeel. Decent APA. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 19, 2013
A: Reddish/Llightly Briwn Hue, Passes Through Some Light, Thick White Head, Good Lacing
S: Citrus, Mild Resin, Mild Malts
T: Piney, Resin, Malty Finish
M: Good Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Dry, Bitter
Overall, a really good Pale Ale that teeters on the IPA boundaries but maintains a good balance with the malt flavors on the back end.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a medium caramel color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint grapefruit, lemon, floral hops and a was a bit dry. The flavor was a bit harsh and was semi sweet with moderate notes of grapefruit and lemon and a touch of pine. The finish was medium length rough fruity hops. Medium body. Decent. Dogbrick (12936) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 27, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with a fairly bitter hops character that has some citrus and pine notes. Notes of malt in the background as well. The finish is hoppy with a short mildly bitter aftertaste. Decent overall. Nephilium (1808) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 19, 2011
(Sampled from a growler) A nice hoppy aroma starts this beer off, which pours a clear amber, with a nice white head, and visible carbonation. Crisp clean hop flavor, but not too much there on the bittering side. Light on the palate. This is a decent beer, very approachable, but not the hop smack in the face I’m looking for with an APA.
