On tap at GTMW 2015, pours a hazy gold with a thin white head, the aroma has a slight touch of belgian yeast with a little bit of funk, the flavor has a little bit of yeast and slight fruit, still boring over all. JK (6230) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2015
GTMW 2015. Very strong basil aroma. Lots of basil in the flavor, some salt, and yeast. Gold color, I don’t think this is sweetened and I like the spice and coriander. A little unusual. Ron (4058) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 17, 2015
On tap at the Brewpub with Patty and Dan. Pours golden with no head or lace. Tastes like yeast, dry lemon, light apple, light herb and some other spice. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like yeast, apple, grapes, light citrus, light herb. Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 7, 2013
(Growler pour) Nice yeasty aroma, with a hint of spice and citrus. Pours a hazy pale straw-yellow with a thin white head. Quite a bit sweeter then most saisons I’ve had, with some earthiness in the finish. The finish lingers for a while, with the earthy notes and a touch of spice. Not a bad saison, not sure if I’d pick this up over some of the other Willoughby beers though. aracauna (3631) - Georgia, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Spicy. Coriander, I think. Slightly woody finish, perhaps from the spicing. Bright.
