Bottle; deep ruby with a centimetre of tight, creamy off-white head; yeasty, bready aroma from bottle, then a wonderful if bizarre whiff of Baileys; coffee flavoured top notes with mellow fruit undertones; big, creamy mouthfeel; dryish, fruity finish; after an underwhelming Wincle Sir Philip the previous evening I wasn’t expecting much, but this is pretty nice stuff Howellsey (13) - - MAR 9, 2012
A fantastic, bitter, nutty, warm beer with a great mouth feel and a bitter afternote. The taste is caramel and nut and hop and is delicious. A dark coloured beer that has a great flavour!
