Gold colour. Appley, slightly grainy nose. Similar taste profile, and a little bit watery. Not awful, but a weak member of the brewery’s lineup.
See through golden colour, with white head. Corny aroma, bitter aftertaste, no carbonation. gdjohns (1) - Pmb, SOUTH AFRICA - JUL 15, 2017 does not count
Recently flat batches of Windhoek Draught beer, without bubbles or head at all.
Most recently terrible headaches experienced, which was the reason I moved away from SAB products for about 5 years now. CurlyJoe (305) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 7, 2017
Slight bitterness, slight sweetness. Tastes a little like Heineken. Carbonated and tastes like beer. nazzty (1378) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2017
One of the better lagers found in South Africa. The taste is mild and slightly hoppy with a nice foamy head that disappears very quickly. BeerLieutenant38 (156) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - APR 16, 2017
Clear, pale and golden. Small white head. Aroma is malty, but a bit faint. Not much sweetness, but I wouldn’t really call it bitter either. Smooth mouthfeel. Finish is slightly dry. It’s pretty satisfying, and one of my favourite Southern African ’commercial’ lagers.

generous gift of a colleague and friend - many thanks! clear pale yellow colour, minimal white head; aroma of grains, cardboard, some grass and hay, maybe metallic notes, too; taste of bread, some herbal and hay notes, cardboard again and metallic sourish-bitterness; not that good lager...but, anyway, man, IT IS FROM NAMIBIA! :-) Scopey (15431) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2016
Can and bottle in Windhoek. It pours clear yellow with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, sweet lemon, touch of lemonade, white bread, grain and straw. The taste is crisp, rather mellow, sweet lemon/lemonade, straw, pale malts, grass and some grain with a dry finish. Light + body and high, foamy carbonation. This is actually pretty nice for a pale lager. Drinking this chilled makes sense in Namibia. Significantly better than tafel imo. AntonyWilson (440) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - JUL 29, 2016
500ml bottle: Pours a clear gold, medium white head that persists. Aroma of bread, straw and slight maltiness. Nice malty flavor with medium bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. Medium to low body with good carbonation. Overall a great beer.
