Windhoek Export, with its full, rounded flavor, tempered with the slightly bitter character of choice hops, has been created to satisfy even the most fastidious taste.

Ljust gyllene i färgen, vitt skum. Doftar söt malt, majs, lätt citrus, lemon. Smakar vattnigt söt malt, unket, lite citrus, majs. Trist.

Far from perfect, but still the best mass-produced beer in Souther Africa. It is more complex than the ordinary Windhoek Lager, which makes it the more pleasant experience, in my opinion. My only criticism is that the beer somehow lacks the subtlety of the better European lagers. It has a rough, coarse palate and suffers from the soapy aftertaste most South African beers are afflicted with. However, having said that, it is still a cut above the (local) rest. And if it is served really cold on a blistering African summers day- it provides a refreshing, satisfying experience.

Golden with little head. Malty nose and taste. A bit darker and stronger than the other Namibian beers. Some lemon in the taste. Bitter in the finish.

imdownthepub (15524) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2008
Bottled, pasteurised, many thanks to Rick for sharing his Birthday Present. Straw, yellow with short white head. Reasonable malty lager with a sharpish hop, tangy with hints of lemon. Certainly had worse than this.

Clear pale straw yellow color, small white head. Malty and cron scent and taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. My friend warned my about this one, but I really wanted to try a beer from Namibia. Well, I tried it, not I really don’t need to do the same again, at least not with this beer...

gam (4139) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 23, 2007
I did not mind this, nice pale colour, strong aroma of grain, woody flavour or earthy good bitter, not a good rater but one to have a go at now and then, slight sweet finish.

SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 16, 2006
Pale Pale yellow..Lots of bubbles, spritzy...big foamy head, disipates medium pace...has a corn bag smell?....a little sour..muddled...is refeshing though..the regular windhoek is much better, but this an OK attempt.

TBone (18560) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 3, 2005
Bottled (BB 02/2006)
Yellow color, foamy big white head. Harsh malty nose, some lace. Sweet - even sugary malty, hints of corn. Sweet aftertaste.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 3, 2005
Bottled. Pale golden colour, crramy malty white head. Cooked vegetables and malt in both flavour and aroma. Watery, very watery. Kind of sweetish aftertaste.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 4, 2005
Pale golden body with clean white head. Aroma was soapy and doughy. Taste was pretty one dimensional, didn’t like the bittering hops, malt and rice, a bit oily and that is all the good points.
