ladnewton (2002) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2017
Cask at the Dartmouth Arms, London on 1st August 2017. Clear coppery amber with loose off-white foam and lacing. Intense hop aroma with fine zest against a biscuit malt. A refreshing, yet solid blend of fruity hoppiness and nutty biscuit malt in-mouth. Rounded, sweet fruity finish with caramel malt. Very pleasant on the palate. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body. A good pint.

Half pint from cask at The Ealing Beer Festival. Exceptionally hoppy for a golden ale, slightly tropical. Dark clear yellow colour

Cask at the Hope and Champion, Beaconsfield. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and a little clingy lace. The aroma is malt, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery woody hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

BlackHaddock (7516) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2016
Cask pint on 3rd Aug 2016: Penderels Oak, High Holborn. Golden pour, white crown. Nose was of light citrus and other tropical fruits as was the taste, bitter finish creeps up on you.

BrewTom (660) - - AUG 24, 2015
Dark golden hue. Slight sickly smell but not strong. Gives a big hit of lemons & limes followed by a smooth, bitter finish. An acceptable British golden ale. Rated by BrewTom

Cask at The Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe. Golden with a thin white head and a light sparkle. A little pine up front then lots of lemon and grapefruit. Plenty of hops but not overly bitter. The more I drank it the more I liked it. Really good golden- as you’d expect from this brewery.

ManVsBeer (10766) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2015
Cask @ Microbar, Manchester. Golden with a small creamy head. Has a slightly stewed tropical fruit character throughout. Decent session ale.

BeerViking (4954) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2015
Cask at the Hounslow JDW, deep gold with a lasting clingy head, aromas of lime and golden biscuit. Firm bodied for a golden ale, with a dry bitterness overlaying dry-sweet malt. Very well made and in excellent nick.
