Bottle. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head and moderate carbonation. Tangerine and pineapple fruits, citrus hops, some sweetish malts and a dry finish. Pleasant drinking.

Pours a hazy brown colour. Taste is very hoppy and of tropical fruit. A very good IPA

Bottle from Aldi. Pours clear amber with little haze suspension and a foamy beige head. Nose takes a bit of effort but there’s orange zest, bit of sweet caramel and lemon juice. Palate is soft and light and a little oily. Moderate to gentle sparkle. Flavours have fresh clean cutting citrus hop on a caramel sweet malt backbone. The fresh citrus hop is balanced beautifully on the sweet malt layer. Unlike many IPAs this never feels like a "hoppy" gimmick. Nice beer.

Bottle from Aldi (Scottish Beer Festival promo) It's quite lively on opening. Pretty fizzy. The taste manages to be strongly sweet and bitter. The booziness reminds me of Tennent's Super Lager with the volume down. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Aldi. Hazy reddish brown with a thin off white head. Slight malty aroma, flavour is caramel malt and pine. Decent

(bottle) murky orange-brown colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of pickled apricots and honey, slightly boozy, with a touch of prickly pear, physalis and yeast. flavour is mostly grainy toasted malts and yeast, with a light hint of milk chocolate and some ethanol in the semi-roasted-bitter finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. too sugary.

Towey1989 (2836) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2016
Keg at The Spout Cafe, Leek. A hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, slight toffee, pine, some orange, a little peach, a hint of papaya and subtle grassy hops. Taste of caramel, fruit, a little toffee, resin, some orange, a hint of peach and subtle grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily carbonation. A long, slight malty, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. This is more resinous and piney more than fruity, which I expect more from citra. Still solid though.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Dark murky amber color, creamy off-white head. Piney nose with citrus. Medium-bodied. Citrus, caramel, yeast. Malty, stuffy. Meh.

ATulloch (304) - Aberdeenshire, SCOTLAND - AUG 20, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours a hazed brown with an offwhite head that fades. Aromas of roasty malts, citrus fruits, slight peach and coriander. Flavour is very malty for an IPA. Citrus comes through ok though but not much else. Not the best but not the worst.
