The aroma is of honey, and I also notice some grape flavor as well. The taste is very sweet; I also can taste some sourness. The palate: very smooth. This mead is a nice refreshing drink that I’ll have again. Try it if you like sweet drinks. Skyview (6021) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Sampled during Paustis & Son’s Holiday Show in St Louis Park, MN. Pours a clear golden pale yellow mead with a clean disk top and plenty viscosity tears. Aroma of sweet wildflower honey, a hint of lavender and some light alcohol. Taste continues the sweet honey, some wild flower and a touch of bubblegum. Finish is semi-sweet the a decent sweet honey and fruity bubblegum aftertaste. This is quite a fun mead to try. MeadMe (1661) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2011
Pours a very pale yellow almost clear. Aromas of honey and flowers. The taste is sweet yet floral. A bit of bitterness comes through in the finish which is a touch dry. Simple and sweet. One you could sip on for hours.
