Serving: from can--purchased at The Beer Junction. Aroma: moderate cocoa. Appearance: small, light-brown initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, cola-brown body. Taste: moderately sweet, whiskey initial flavor and lightly sweet, smokey finish with long duration. Palate: full body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation. Overall: excellent porter.

Dark with a thin medium beige head. Chocolate and molasses, lightly roasted malts, a faint nutty background. Medium thin body. I rather enjoyed it. Went great with tonight’s pulled pork.

Great smell when you pop the can. Interesting taste. Dark roasted malt almost tastes slightly sprouted. Thick.

Poured from a pint sized can. Chocolate, coffee. Caramel, light herbal notes. This is a great beer, worth trying a least once.

Can. Pours a near-black color with a smallish light brown head on there. Nose is quite roasty with some hints of chocolate and milk to it. Taste a bit bitter and very roasty, with just a hint of smoke coming through. Pretty decent, though not amazing.

jinroh (2122) - ESTONIA - DEC 30, 2014
Had this months ago. Almost dark, thin brown head. Aroma is soft and full of roast, slightly sour. Taste is strong, roasty, has coffee and chocolate. Cocoa. Easygoing acidity. Nicely drinkable and quite enjoyable.
