UPDATED: JAN 23, 2018 On tap at Drie Dorstige Herten. Murky amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of roosvicee, quite sweet and fruity, berries, caramel, malty, yeast. Flavour is sweet, malty, berries, roosvicee, quite fruity, caramel, some resin, bitter finish. Light bodied.

Far from the default dullness some reds lapse into. Heaped chestnut furring the glass with beige tufts. Aroma red berry, strawberry jelly, grenadine, lemon zest. Fruity balanced and subtly hoppy beer with lush red berry, bitter orange, toasted nut and soapy floral bitterness going on. Bittersweet and discreetly nutty. Rather good.

5oz sampler in Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Smells slightly like raisins. Fruity taste, bit like a cross Berwyn a raisin and a blackberry. Pours a cloudy brown colour. Lightly fizzy. (K)

Keg tap at the Craft Beer Company, Brixton. Brownish amber, cloudy as it gets, with a small ring of white head. Light aroma with malt loaf, sweet spice, icing sugar... a suggestion of strawberries. Sweet taste with cherry chocolate notes and a grainy malt presence. Uncomplicated with a surprisingly short finish. It is enjoyable but unfortunately there isn't much to it.

Shared by kermis. Unclear brownish color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, quite hoppy, sweetish fruit hops, moderately bitter. Medium body, suitable decent carbonation. Nice.
