Flat hazy golden brown appearance. Aroma is soapy, hoppy... with a hint of sour grapes. Definitely a sour essence in this one.. almost cidery. Hardly any hops on the taste. To call this an IPA seems ridiculous, more like a Saison. It’s tart, but smooth. It’s not bad. SaintMatty (7559) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 24, 2016
500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Pine, peach, grapes and some herbal notes in the aroma. Fruity and hoppy taste with peach, apricot, orange and grapefruit. A great advert for modern German hops. gegwilson (3806) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a dark orange-brown cloudy beer that pours with a foamy head. It has a bitter orange marmalade flavour, malty, citrus, chocolate and nutty notes followed by a pine and woody creamy finish. Excellent! Keg at the Fox E8 - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Light tangy citrus fruit in the nose, some tangerine, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor, a little earthy, with some honeydew, tangerine, oranges, white bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous in the finish, nice juicy citrus, pale bread, subtle oily pine. Good one. Scopey (15906) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2015
Keg at the Fox E8. It pours cloudy orange with a decent whitish head. The nose is sweet, juicy, shed load of orange citrus, tangerine, kumquat, mango and marmalade. The taste is crisp, zesty orange, kumquat, pithy, lemon sherbet, waxy citrus, marmalade, sticky, pepper, grassy aspect, oily aspect and Cointreau boozy action with a dry, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Like eating a boozy kumquat. For real. jamestulloch (4371) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 21, 2015
Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky bronze body with a thick off-white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of wood, brown bread and basil. Flavour of blood orange, herbs and nuts with a hint of spice and nail varnish. Medium body with a an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Unusual flavour for an IPA but a bit too boozy. leebotton (406) - Bristol, Somerset, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2015
Fresh ripe melon aroma with avocado, much punchier than I was expecting. Head is tinged just slightly orange and has a substantial quality. Wow, big nutty flavour backed up with soft fruit tones. Texture is perfect, thick and suiting. Lucky Germans!
