330ml bottle / batch 03 (10.7%). Pours almost black with a thin tan head. Aroma of sweet milky chocolate, vanilla, light roasted malts. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, vanilla, light roast malts or coffee, alcohol is well hidden. Medium-full body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, fine carbonation. Decent. Tasting along with batch 05 there's quite a noticeable difference, I definitely preferred this to the newer ones. mR_fr0g (14242) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2017
Trillium Tap takeover at Beavertown 08/07/2017. Bottle thanks to Leighton. A mahogany brown coloured pour with a faint tan head. Aroma is nice peanut butter, milky chocolate, faint coconut. Flavour is composed of milky chocolate, peanut butter, milkshake. Sweet and smooth good stuff. Palate is viscuos, creamy with frothy carbonation, medium sweet. Good stuff. ianwelby (1591) - SCOTLAND - DEC 30, 2017
Black beer, thin brown head. Smells of tangy berries, caramel, chocolate. Taste is salted caramel, cream, chocolate, malt, vanilla. Rich and smooth in the mouth despite a very slight fizzy hit. Slightly drier and more savoury in the aftertaste. Brilliantly balanced. madmitch76 (26850) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2017

Beavertown Trillium TTO. Bottle thanks to Leighton. Clear deep amber - brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth and rich dark malts, some dark malt cream and nice dark chocolate. A little coffee in there. Spice. Dark fruits lurk underneath. Smooth finish. Fairly standard Impy taste profile then but this is very smooth and well integrated.
Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. 10%. Nearly black. Slim ring of tan head. Nose has bitter chocolate. Milky coffee. Some bonfire toffee. Bit of raspberry like fruitiness. Taste has brown sugar sweetness. Some earthy bitterness. Silky mouthfeel. Nicely rich. Easy drinking. Milky coffee to finish. Very decent, albeit not overly complex.

Bottled 330ml (Beergium, batch 04 "Handshake", ABV 10.0%)The_Osprey (9876) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2017
Dark brown-ruby, almost opaque colourm small vanishing cola-like head. Roasted, vegetably coffee bean aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, hides ABV quite well and feels thinner than could expect. Licorice root, lactose, vanilla, cocoa is not very evident, roastyness, vegetables, coffee. Restless imperial milk stout. Lactose doesn’t work here so well. Maybe previous raters have had better batches.
July 2017 - Bottle share at Beavertown. As ’Wiper and True Hard Shake 3 (Imperial)’, 10.7%. Thanks Leighton! Very dark brown, red hue, foamy brown head. Aroma is coffee, lactose and milk chocolate. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sugary – pretty sweet, lactose sugars, coffee liqueur and very sugary coffee. I don’t usually have the biggest sweet tooth but I think this one works. 10%ABV. Imperial milk stout.
Poured out black-brown. 39 SRM.
Nose is has roasted malt (smoke with a hint of sweet malty funk), molasses and germinating grain. Other aromas are cold sweet coffee, hint of dark chocolate, earthy aroma like coffee grounds.
Mouthfeel is juicy and watered honey. Palate has ripe stone fruit with dates, plums and prunes. Palate is also boozy up front, as if eager to assert its ABV. Other flavors are dark chocolate, cold black coffee, and more specifically coffee with milk or cafe au lait. Hop flavors are burnt twigs and charcoal.
Finish is sweet and strongly suggestive of burnt sugar and scorched milk.
Overall, a pleasant sweet stout experience. The lactose comes through and lingers on this one with a sweet candy, faintly treacle-like palate. Theydon_Bois (21818) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2017

Decent easy drinking impy affair.
