Bottle from Beer Emporium, Bristol. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Bg, hoppy aroma of pine, citrus, pineapple and green herbs. Full-bodied, with dense malts, more tropical fruits and some heavy herbs, leading to a lengthy, bitter finish with the Mosaic hops dominant. Very good.

6.2%ABV. IPA. Poured out amber. 12 SRM. Nose has sweet ripe citrus. A thin malt sweetness, otherwise pretty unobtrusive. Mouthfeel is juicy and soapy. Palate has toasted graham cracker. Hop flavors are orange peel, lemon zest, grapefruit peel, pine sap, grass. Finish is medium with a lemon zest, citrus oil, lightly spicy flavor palate sensation.

A murky, brown-yellow colour, a head is small and blond. Aroma has pineapple and mango, but the presence is slightly messy, some hints of herbs and vegetables. Taste has mangos, some herbs, grapefruits and generic fruitness. Not so messy as the aroma. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Not very succesfully, disappointment.

Keg. Aroma of mango and pineapples.with floral, and citrus notes. Pours hazy orange gold with thin white lace. Taste is sweet with a sour finish that is modest and ever so slightly disappointing given the excellence that preceded it. All the same it’s the taste of a good summer.

Keg at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A hazy deep golden orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, mango, maybe passionfruit, some pineapple, a little pine, slight caramel and subtle floral hops. Taste of orange, mango, pineapple, some pine, slight caramel and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A long, dryish, fruity and floral hop bitterness in the finish. A really good, refined IPA. Tropical fruit, a zip of citrus and earthy pine. Decent balance and a long floral finish.

Keg at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Golden, cloudy with a ring of white head. Apricot, quince and lemon sherbet in the aroma. Taste is noticeably bitter but there’s a creamy malty sweetness providing depth and balance. Heavy yet unobtrusive carbonation. Funny that I haven’t had a Wiper & True in a while, then two (in two separate pubs) come along at once. Nice to reacquaint myself with this gem of a brewery.

Lane. Słomkowo-żółte, mętne. Piana biała, obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa. Cudowny aromat brzoskwiniowo-nektarynkowo-kwiatowy z dodatkowymi nutami żywicy.
