This beer has four different hops set around a centrepiece Saison yeast. The spicy dry base is layered with rich ripe melon and bubblegum flavours, counterbalanced with a tart citrus finish.

Keg at The Bottle Shop, London. It pours a clean pale golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is crisp citrus and grass notes, some hay and melon. Taste is also lightly bitter and grassy with notes of straw melon dried leaves and light yeast spice. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, ok

1/3 from St Andrews Brewery’s Pub. Cloudy. Coppery gold. Soft Saison features. Nice yeast character. More hops in the aroma than comes through in taste. Sweet, rich tea malt. Pleasantly light, easy drinking beer. Perfect summer fodder..... Shame it’s December

Bottle share at Paul’s, thanks to Mr Ramsey. Fittingly, this was the first bottle of the evening. Hazy orange, sparkling, big foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is pissy, musty, orange, air freshener, lemon. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, foamy. Taste is dry, lemony, straw, a little medicinal, light bitterness. Pretty decent.

Bottle split at the Tropical Croydonia tasting on melt day, thanks to Paulo, 01/07/15. Pale golden with a decent white covering. Nose is straw, lemon, light peach, melon, yeast esters. Taste comprises zingy lemon jus, earthy, light spice, yeast esters, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and clean in the close. Solid saison - great flavour for the ABV.

Bottle shared at Tropical Croydonia tasting. It pours hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, very juicy, stewed orange, orange tango, peach and apricot. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, toasty, spicy yeast, creacker, dough, sherbet and orange rind with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, clean and curshable. Very nice.

Bottle at home. Gushed like a motherfucker all over my desk. These guys have quality / consitsency issues. Same beer at Paul’s was fine i believe. Only about 100ml left from 500ml. Mukry orange / golden coloured pour milky, scummy white head. Aroma is earthy, funk, big saison yeasty character, spicy apricot, orange, wheat, dab of funk. Flavour is composed of wheaty grains, tangy, yeasy, spicy, peach. Palate is a bit tired and flabby, obviously lost all it’s carbonation when it exploded. Decent saison, but the gush is a sign of poor quality control.

Leighton (22307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2015
Bottle shared amongst friends in Croydonia - thanks to Paul. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. Nice aroma, lots of peach, orange, nectarine, wheat. Light sweet flavor with mellow minerality, some crispy wheat, light grain, lemon rind, faint dough, grapefruit, bubblegum. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, further dry wheat, citrus, gum, melon. Tasty.

Bottle. Hazy golden with an off white foam. Aromas are oranges and lemons with lightly funky yeast. Bready malts with melon and white grape skin. Traces of banana with leafy, spicy notes. Flavours are herbal mintiness with lemony yeast and dry woodiness. Lime cordial with grassy notes and green apple. Pretty good as usual.
