33 cl bottle @ Kitty’s, BBE 01.09.2015. Aroma is somewhat musty with some metallic tones and spices. Also licorice and sweet berry juice. Flavour has berry juice, some spices and ripe fruits. Nothing special. SamTheBarrel (821) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - NOV 10, 2014
330ml 2014 years vintage brown bottle, with the brewers signature church window shaped label picturing Santa Claus, poured into a snifter glass. Appearance is nearly black opaque dark brown with a medium sized khaki colored head with good retention, that when reduced left a little lacing. Aroma of orange and lemon zest, bread and caramel. Flavours of orange peels, syrup loaf, caramel, lemon zest and a dried apricots. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, soft texture and average carbonation. Wisby Julbrygd is a great beer in the style, flavorful and well balanced. gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 12, 2014

Mörkbrun nästan rödaktig! Doftar julkryddor och smakar mycket väldigt bra kolsyrad och en ok öl! yngwie (17168) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2014
Bottle. A clear, amber colored beer with a finger-thick beige head. Weak aroma, mostly malty, but with a touch of fresh fruits. Some dried fruits as well. The flavor has a faint smoked touch, some meaty hints and mostly a light caramel-ish maltyness. Full-bodied and semi-dry on the palate, finishing malty and with a touch of smoke. A pretty boring one, but I like the smoke touch. 140307

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Drukket i Skibotn 28 Des 13. Dyp mørkebrun. Lavt lysebrunt skum med litt lacing. God karamellaroma med antydning til plommer. Smaken litt tung. Mørk frukt. Avslutningen er tørr. Gjennomgående et visst maltpreg men ettersmaken er fruktig. Palme (4816) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 19, 2014
0.33l bottle. This one has a light blurry really deep dark amber ruby colored body with a medium sized quickly fading dark beige and lacing head. Nice rich aroma, loaded with sweet caramelly dark malty goodness. Some dark fruits are found, as is hints of cardboard and nuts. Smells nice. Tastes quite alright also. Lots of dark malty which sweetness with a mild yeasty and cardboard hint. Light oily on the mouth and the carbonation feels just below average. More dark dried berries and a nice mild hoppy bitterness. Absolutely a fair one to sip at now that its nearing the big Christmas season. 10.11.2013 Beer5000 (6674) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2014
500 ml bottle. Clear, dark amber body with a medium sized, dense off-white head. Moderate in aroma, malt with a hint of bread, caramel and spices. Flavor is sweet and medium malty, some toast and low bitterness. After a while the Gotland’s malt becomes more prominent and there is a hint of smoked meat here as well. It’s OK, but all in all to anonymous and could be more balanced with more and stronger flavors. Geokkjer (7643) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 7, 2014

Good finger beige head, some lacings, clear black brown body.
Dark malts in scents, slightly roasted, hints of hops.
Tastes dark chocolate malts, confectionery, walnut, dark toffee, mocca.
Smooth to palate, slightly creamy feel. Herbal finish of hops, roasted malt, bitter and some sweetness. Overall almost as christmas porter. (@home Tromsø 24jan2014). [style Amber Lager / Vienna ? this beer is almost black]
