COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle 33 cl. Aroma is nice, abbey like characteristics: nuts, cream, a little vanilla and some yeast. Taste is not as big as aroma, Aroma is earthy, metal, caramel, dough. Keep it up, Wisby!

Finwe (436) - Grankulla, FINLAND - FEB 11, 2010
330 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pours golden orange with quite thick white head. Notes of fruits, especially citric, in the aroma. Quite dry. The flavour quite faithfully follows the aroma with some resiny (pine) components and hoppy bitterness also present. A decent beer, but not much similar to typical abbey ales, thus a bit misleadingly named.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2010 This is an old beer in a new design and size (down from 50 cl). It poured a hazy brown-orange-golden liquid with a big white foam that left allot of lacing. It had a weak smell of yeast, malt and some fruit. It had allot of carbonation and was a bit watery. Not my kind of beer, there are better choices out there.

New 33 cl bottle. Pours a golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is lightly grassy hoppy, with hint of apricot. Flavour is similiar, with a small bitterness in the finish. Feels a bit thin - but it’s actually quite tasty.
