COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. Cloudy, honey colored. As said below it is not a true Belgian ale, but should it be? Afterall, it's Swedish! and Swedes are not renowned for great beer. Something about this beer seems rustic; I imagine this is like beer one ordered at inns in the middle ages. This is not a great beer, but it has an interesting, sweet flavor and is kind of dry, but not husky. If I compare this to other beers in it's price class--that is $3 per liter--it has no competition. This beer is great for summer evenings or nights and taking it easy...not exactly brewed for winter binges. Citrus and caramel. Great because it's not pastuerized which leaves the enzymes in tact and it's not filtered. Amazing! Now only if it were brewed of certified organic hops.
