Clear copper in color. Big white head that stays for a while and leaves lots of lacing. Caramel malts and sweet bread in the aroma. Same goes for the taste, which in my opinion is way too boring. Won’t be buying again. Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - DEC 30, 2012
330 ml bottle, as Gotlands Red October (Wisby is not mentioned on the label), from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.0%. Pale brown to copper colour, large off-white head. Pleasant malty aroma with hints of caramel and brown bread, also some hints of over-ripe red fruits. The flavour is also malty with distinct notes of caramel, but is not too sweet. Decent hops in the finish, medium bitter aftertaste. A nice beer which i might well buy again. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 22, 2012
Bottle. A clear, dark amber to copper coloured beer topped by a small, beige head. The aroma had toffee, bread and some roasted hints. The flavour is pretty much the same, with a little bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Lasting bready finish. A decent beer, but I’m not impressed, and can’t see myself having more bottles. 121222 bergstaden (2930) - Røros, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2012

Aroma: floral, caramel - Appearance: clear, orange, minimal head - Taste: light sweetness, medium bitterness - Palate: thin feel, bitter finish - ElDesmadre (3626) - Mikołów, POLAND - NOV 2, 2012
Bottle from a trade with Cunningham. Lots of grassy Saaz hops in the aroma, with a subtle addition of Amarillo citrus. There is some toasted malt in here but Saaz hops reigns supreme. Same goes for the flavour - while the body is robust in a marzen manner, the finish is very bitter, with an aftertaste of grass and hay. Saaz marzen? I like that! teddybeer (3735) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 29, 2012
[Thanks to Cunningham]. 33cl bottle. Orangish colour with a nice beige head, creamy, good lasting and nice lacework. Aroma is hoppy, orange, fresh and malty. Flavour has a good maltiness, bittery at the beginning with citrus and orange notes, and a final maintaining a decent bitterness. Carbonation and body are medium. esp0r (2867) - NORWAY - OCT 28, 2012

Amber red, tanned head. Smells of dust, caramel, hints of other hops. Light sweet, quite dry and crisp. Moderate bitter finish, some dust and grass. Totally my opinion of this beer can be described as this.... Where the f%#%& is the amarillo?
Bottle at home. The colour is golden amber with a medium off-white head. Aromas of leather, wood, wild berries and caramel. More leather in the flavour along with oak, sweet malt and grass. Reminds me a bit of a pilsener. Has a soft and rich mouthfeel, and a medium bitterness. Easy-drinking and tasteful, and quite bitter beer.
