Really good smell. The taste is also quite lovely. This kind of October beer you just want to drink more of. The aftertaste is left for a while but is perfectly okay taste-wise. I’d probably buy a few more hours in October because it was so good. Leighton (21513) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2013
Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - thanks to one of the Swedes, I’m sure. Poure clear amber with a fine, creamy head. Sugary and bready malts in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with light toasted sugars, bread, modest dry caramel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Some more dryness in the finish - which is welcomed - with light leafy bitterness, dirt, further dry caramel. Good offsetting bitterness. Decent marzen. KnutAlbert (6753) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 4, 2010
Amber beer, nice complex hoppy aroma. Sweet and sour, caramel blended with hops. But it’s not as extreme as the label might make you believe. Redcurrants, prunes. Dry finish. Sigmund (7660) - Tau, NORWAY - DEC 30, 2012
330 ml bottle, as Gotlands Red October (Wisby is not mentioned on the label), from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.0%. Pale brown to copper colour, large off-white head. Pleasant malty aroma with hints of caramel and brown bread, also some hints of over-ripe red fruits. The flavour is also malty with distinct notes of caramel, but is not too sweet. Decent hops in the finish, medium bitter aftertaste. A nice beer which i might well buy again. MattiasA (862) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2014
Bought this when it was available at Systembolaget a couple of years ago. Malty with caramel and a slight sweetness, some citrusy-aromas aswell.

Warehouse No 68, Stockholm. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, berries, some bitterness and mild notes of catpissy notes. Flavour is grass, sweet fruits, caramel malts and mild earthyness. A quite pleasant beer after you have had a few sips of it.

Not much aroma at all; som sweet fruits.
Medium, pretty pungent bitterness.
Some light fruitiness.
Bottle 33cl. A clear amber colour with a large off-white head. An aroma of malt, caramel and citrus. Some toasted and hoppy notes. The taste is sweet and light bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and long finish. Better than expected stefannilssons (1580) - SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2011
En något fruktig och lite kryddig öl. Det är inget speciellt med den men den är lättsam, god och prisvärd. Det bör tilläggas att detta var en berusad recension.
