(Bottle). Fresh light floral and citrus tart hops aroma with vague peculiar aroma of fermented herring? Malt and hop flavor and aroma of fermented herring? Very rough and bitter hops bitterness in the aftertaste. There may be something wrong with this beer, but the taste now, it is barely drinkable!

Bottle. Well beyond BB date (11 months); Drank Apr 2017 - Orangey Gold in colour. Medium off-white head. Malty; sweet malts, toasty, bready, caramel. Fruity; orange and tangerine citrus. Syrupy. Slight grassy hops (possibly partly due to age of bottle). Sweet malty and citrus fruity throughout. Dryish. Moderately bitter malty fruity finish. OK despite age of bottle. Easy drinking. (2017-04)

Clear mahagony beer with very small beige head. Aroma is refreshing and sweet fruits, caramel. Taste is suprisingly mild hoppy, light sweet malts and you can feel a little bit alcohol just for a second. Medium body. Descent mild IPA.

Has a definite sucrose sweetness: caramel, butterscotch. Too much malt and not enough hops.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Rather weak lemon tea aroma, hints of caramel, biscuit, candied lemon zest. Taste is dry, citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon tea, lemon drops, minimally sugary, caramel malty basis.

Blueshawk (465) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - OCT 30, 2016
