33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is solid hoppy, slight herbal, pine and mild fruity. Fruity, pine and solid hoppy. Toasted and slight bitter, mild herbal far finish. ninecats (532) - Uddevalla, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2015
Bottle. Clear reddish brown, big beige foam, good lacing. Aroma is fruity with pine, malty breadish, swedish julmust. Taste is a mashup of bitter hops and malt, with more emphasis on the former, minimal cookie/nutty feel as usually found in a brown ale, but more hoppiness made out of grassiness and coffee in the finish, fairly dry. Light to medium body, medium carbo. Not the typical brown ale but clean made. Marstonlad (885) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 16, 2015
Bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm. A brown color with a reddish tinge; frothy, handsome head. The aroma features both maltiness and hoppiness; caramel and bread from the former, pine and citrusy fruitiness from the latter. The balance is surprisingly slightly on hops, probably due to Nelson Sauvin. Taste confirms the expectations set by the aroma: this is definitely a hop-driven brown ale. Not much sweetness appears; instead, dryish, crisp bitterness pushes to the forefront with maltiness balancing. Piney, fruity hoppiness is complemented by bready, toasty malty notes. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth texture and a low to average carbonation. Original, crisp and tasty brown ale all in all. Dahlstrom (392) - Nygatan 29, SWEDEN - NOV 28, 2015

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2015 Sampled from a 33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, dark brown colour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of vine fruits, molasses and booze. Taste is rich, like fruitcake soaked in brandy. Plenty of fruit - grapefruit, orange, raisins - and a good, hoppy, bitter finish. An excellent strong ale.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear dark ruby / brown, three-finger size tanned, creamy head, good lacing. Hoppy aroma, orange, apricot, grapefruit and caramel. Medium bodied, medium carbonated, soft sweet mouthfeel. Caramel and butterscotch taste with citrus, ripe orange, fruit tea and dark sugar. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2015
Big beige head. Clear deep dark reddish brown body. Resiny tropical
fruit aroma with chocolatey notes. Not bad, but the aromas clash.
Dryish tropical fruit and caramel taste with meaty notes. Mid-bodied.
Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny grapefruit aftertaste with caramelly
notes. Well. It’s not a bad beer, but this combination doesn’t work
for me. (0.33l bottle, from Systembolaget Ljungskile.) mikeyo1 (827) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAY 8, 2015

Dry, bitter for its kind and very refreshing. It's kinda light so set it early in a tasting. It's good and simple.

Flaska från SB. Mer annanas än den vanliga grapen. Fräsch. Fin bland de tyngre. Fruktig. Bra beska som kontrast mot julmaten.
